Block 10 at Greata Ranch is the vineyard we harvest twice. The aspect of the land causes the Chardonnay on the south side to ripen ahead of the north. So we harvest the south first and then the north as much as two weeks later when the fruit is perfectly ripe. It’s twice as much time and effort but the result in the bottle is twice as good. All our winemaking decisions get the same attention to detail as Block 10 does. And the results show in every bottle. On that, you have our word.

Winemaker's Notes

Sourced from nine unique vineyards located in the Okanagan Valley including Greata Ranch and CedarCreek. Our 2008 Chardonnay was fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak to produce a crisp, dry style of wine.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of vanilla, almonds and lemon citrus. Flavours of spiced baked apple, banana, toffee and butterscotch blend nicely with subtle hints of vanilla and toasty French oak on the palate. The creamy, complexity of this wine is due to partial malolactic fermentation with minimum oak aging.

Culinary Notes

A great reception wine paired with smoked salmon, oysters and a variety of soft to medium cheeses. Try with linguini and roasted red peppers in a cream sauce or baked salmon.
