In our Upper CedarCreek Vineyard, nature helps us select just the right moment to harvest the Pinot Gris. Over the years, we've noticed that Black Bears enjoy the same level of ripeness of flavour as we do. When they start making their way under our "bear-proof" fence, we know it's time to start picking - very carefully. All our winemaking decisions get the same attention to detail as the Pinot Gris does. And the results show in every bottle. On that, you have our word.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

Harvested from seven different sites in the Okanagan Valley including our home block at CedarCreek and grapes from vineyards located in East Kelowna and Naramata Bench. A combination of stainless steel (83%) and barrel fermentation (2 months in French oak) provides for a well balanced wine with a creamy mouthfeel.

TASTING NOTES

Medium bodied wine, with refreshing acidity balancing the ripe tropical fruit, such as peaches and guava. There is a touch of oak giving some spicy characters and offering a lightly toasted finish.

CULINARY NOTES

Recommended with a variety of seafood, grilled pork and schnitzel. Pairs well with mild to medium soft cheeses.
